Job summary

Clyde & Co in Manchester is seeking a Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join the Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss Team. You will work on high-value claims for leading insurer and corporate clients, supporting partners and developing client relationships in a collaborative, modern office environment.

The role involves handling motor, EL/PL, cross-border matters and complex personal injury and large loss cases, with a focus on delivering a highly professional service and meeting client SLAs and MI

Qualifications

• Experience in personal injury litigation.
• Ability to deliver a highly professional service to clients, including meeting SLAs and MI requirements.
• Demonstrates determination and adaptability in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to handle complex legal issues and expand knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured commercial organisations.
• Assist and manage a varied caseload, including investigations and witness statements.
• Review medical records and reports; liaise with clients for outcomes.
• Draft legal documents and client advice; manage interlocutory proceedings and meetings.
• Support marketing and business development within the casualty group.
