Job summary

Finning (UK) Ltd is seeking a seasoned Rebuild Repair Engineer to conduct reconditioning, repairs, and maintenance on Caterpillar products within a busy Construction Equipment workshop in the UK.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and engine issues, perform overhauls to Finning standards, and work with a team to meet customer requirements, with comprehensive benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or equivalent with industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years in quality service environment in machinery industry.
• Licence to drive reach trucks is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed inspection to assess repair scope and cost.
• Carry out diagnosis tests for cost evaluations and warranties.
• Prepare parts list for proposed work.
• Overhaul/repair/refurbishment per plan and re-install components.
• Inspect and test finished machine to ensure performance.
