Job summary

Finning (UK) Ltd is seeking a Rebuild Repair Engineer to perform reconditioning, repairs and maintenance on Caterpillar products in a large workshop. The role requires strong electrical, hydraulic and engine troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a busy environment.

You will inspect, diagnose, and overhaul machinery, ensure safety standards, and support 2nd life overhauls within the Construction Equipment group. Competitive benefits and training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machines and confirm repair scope with commercial assessment.
• Run diagnosis tests on components for cost evaluation and warranties.
• List parts and materials needed for refurbishment.
• Overhaul, repair or refurbish according to the plan and reinstall parts.
• Test and inspect the finished machine to ensure performance.
