Job summary

Evri in Motherwell is seeking HGV Class 1 Twilight Drivers to join our Eurocentral Depot. The role involves long-range driving on waves, collecting and delivering parcels, and supporting depot staff as needed.

Drivers must hold a UK HGV Class 1 licence (Cat C+E), CPC and tachograph, and be ready for a short driving assessment. We offer a competitive hourly rate (£16.42) with overtime via weekends, a pension and life assurance, and a range of flexible benefits.

• Newly qualified drivers welcome; must pass a short driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely; update paperwork.
• Assist depot staff with heavier items when needed and adapt to route changes.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities forHGV Class 1 DayDrivers(or Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join ourgrowing Eurocentral Depot.

WhatYou’llDo

OurHGV Class 1 driversusually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in theEVRinetwork.You’llensure parcels are collected and deliveredsafely;paperwork updated andassistdepot staff with heavier items from time to time. We know the great British roads and weatherdon’talways play nicely, soyou’llneed to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.

Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week with some weekends.
