Job summary

EVRi in Carlisle is hiring full-time HGV Class 2 Day Drivers (Cat C) to join our Carlisle depot. You will operate 40 hours per week on early shifts, completing 4–5 drops and ensuring safe driving and accurate paperwork.

We offer £15.11 per hour with overtime at £22.67, a 3% pension contribution, life assurance and a range of flexible benefits, with opportunities for career progression within the EVRi network.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, Driver CPC and digital tachograph.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset is essential.
• Good physical fitness for daily driving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles on scheduled routes, delivering palletised parcels and collecting from Delivery Units.
• Complete 4–5 drops per run and keep paperwork up to date.
• Work the full-time shifts (40 hours/week) with 5 shifts out of 7 and advance rotas.
• Support career progression within the EVRi network.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities forHGV Class 2 Day Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growingCarlisledepot.

WhatYou’llDo:

OurHGV Class 2drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collectingfromDelivery Units (that'swhere our couriers pick them up).You will typically have a run with 4 - 5drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping thepaperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week,but flexible contracts and part time hours are available.Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

Our day shift typically starts between03:00-07:00
