Job summary

Evri in Bury St Edmunds is hiring HGV Class 2 Night Drivers (Cat C) to join our depot. Night shifts typically start between 22:00 and 00:00, with runs featuring 4–5 drops and up-to-date paperwork.

Full-time is 35 hours per week, with flexible contracts and some part-time options. We offer £18.17 per hour (including seasonal allowance), overtime at £25.85, plus 32 days of annual leave, pension and life assurance, and a range of flexible benefits to suit you.

Qualifications

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
• Reasonable physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• You’ll drive and transport palletised parcels to Couriers or collect from Delivery Units, with 4–5 drops per run and up-to-date paperwork.
• Full-time roles are 35 hours per week, with flexible contracts and some part-time hours available.
• 5 shifts out of 7, with rotas published in advance.

WhatYou’llDo:

OurHGV Class 2drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collectingfromDelivery Units (that'swhereour couriers pick them up).You will typically have a run with 4 - 5drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping thepaperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 35hours a week,but flexible contracts and part time hours are available.Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.
