Job summary

Evri Group is hiring an HGV Class 2 Night Driver for the Bury St Edmunds depot. Night shifts typically start between 22:00 and 00:00, with full-time duties including safely transporting palletised parcels to couriers or Delivery Units and updating paperwork.

Role offers 35 hours per week, with rotas 5 out of 7 and option for flexible contracts or part-time hours. Benefits include 32 days’ annual leave, pension contribution and life assurance, plus a range of flexible perks.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 entitlements, Driver's CPC and digital tachograph.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.

• Reasonable physical fitness for manual handling and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles on scheduled routes, delivering palletised parcels to couriers or Delivery Units.
• Complete 4–5 drops per run and ensure paperwork is accurate and up to date.
• Maintain vehicle safety, adhere to routes and company policies, and report incidents promptly.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities forHGV Class 2 NightDrivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growingBury St Edmunds depot.

What You’ll Do:

OurHGV Class 2drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collectingfromDelivery Units (that's where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping thepaperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 35 hours a week,but flexible contracts and part time hours are available.Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

What We Can Offer You:

£18.17 per hour(£17.23 per hour plus £0.94 seasonal allowance) with an overtime rate of£25.85. Essential Skills & Experience Required:
