EVRi in Peterborough is recruiting HGV Class 2 Night Drivers (Cat C). Night runs typically start between 23:00 and 02:00, with 4–5 drops per run, delivering palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units.

We offer full-time roles at 40 hours per week, plus flexible contracts and part-time options. Salary starts at £15.80 per hour with overtime at £23.70, plus a pension and life assurance, and a range of flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2(Cat C) entitlements, driver’s CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Night Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Peterborough Depot.

Night shifts typically start between 23:00-02:00

What You’ll Do:

Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that’s where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4-5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week, but flexible contracts and part time hours are available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.
