Job summary

Evri is seeking a HGV Class 2 Night Driver for the West Thurrock area. You will drive on night shifts, safely delivering palletised parcels and keeping paperwork up to date. Roles offer 40 hours per week with rotas provided in advance, with additional part-time options possible.

Starting pay is £17.80 per hour, with overtime at £26.70. Evri provides a pension contribution and a flexible benefits package to suit individual needs.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, CPC and tachograph.
• Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, but all drivers will undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills, safety-first mindset, and good physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport palletised parcels to couriers or collect from delivery units.
• Maintain paperwork and complete 4–5 drop runs per shift.

HGV Class 2 Night Driver West Thurrock!

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Night Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Lakeside Depot.

What You’ll Do:

Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that's where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week, but flexible contracts and part time hours are available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.
