Job summary

Marsh is seeking a confident Graduate Trainee Account Manager to join the Casualty team in a hybrid role. You will support day-to-day administration of Casualty risks under delegated facility arrangements, ensuring accurate recording and processing.

You will work closely with Casualty brokers and Facility Insurers, supporting stakeholder engagement, audits, compliance activities, and performance reporting. This is an excellent entry point to develop technical knowledge and client service skills.

Qualifications

• Degree educated with a minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) and genuine interest in starting a career in insurance.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and professional approach.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a methodical approach to managing tasks and priorities.
• Strong customer service mindset and commitment to delivering a positive, responsive experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day communications with brokers and designated clients, following up on correspondence.
• Support the development of strong account relationships between MPS and Facility Insurers.
• Assist with training for Marsh broker colleagues on Casualty facility processes.
• Address escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, helping manage expectations and escalating major issues to senior colleagues where appropriate.
• Develop an understanding of client businesses by conducting research and providing relevant analysis.
• Support the day-to-day management of designated accounts, preparing electronic submissions and facilitating the placement of risks via Marsh's designated online platform, Whitespace.
• Present facility performance analysis to Facility Insurers.
• Report to senior colleagues on relationship satisfaction to ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop a strong understanding of Marsh's and Facility Insurers' products, colleagues, and operations to improve the quality of support provided.
• Support senior account managers on larger initiatives, complex accounts, and ad hoc requests.
