Job summary

Marsh is seeking a confident, articulate Trainee Account Manager to join the QS Team in a hybrid role based in Norwich. You will manage day-to-day administration for QS-eligible risks under Quota Share agreements, coordinating with brokers, insurers and internal colleagues to ensure accurate processing and reporting.

The role welcomes trainees, graduates or career changers and offers exposure to stakeholder engagement, audits, compliance, and KPI-driven performance reporting within Marsh UK.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day communications with brokers and designated clients (Facility Insurers).
• Strengthen and grow account relationships between MPS and the Facility Insurers.
• Provide Casualty / Specie / FinPro QS Facility process training for Marsh broker colleagues.
• Address escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, manage expectations, and elevate major issues when needed.
• Develop an understanding of client businesses by conducting research and providing industry analysis.
• Support day-to-day management of designated accounts, preparing electronic submissions and facilitating risk placement via Whitespace.
• Present Facility performance analysis to our Facility Insurers.
• Report to senior colleagues on relationship satisfaction to ensure mutual understanding with stakeholders.
• Develop fluency in Marsh’s and Facility Insurer’s products and operations to enrich work and capabilities.
