Davies is seeking an experienced Liability Loss Adjuster to join our Casualty team. This home-based role covers caseloads in the North West of England, with travel as necessary.

You will liaise with insurers, policyholders and brokers and investigate allocated claims from the field or desk. The position offers full training and development, plus a strong benefits package including 25 days holiday and professional qualifications support.

Qualificações

• Experience in casualty claims is beneficial but not essential; full training provided.
• Home-based role covering caseloads in the North West England; travel required.

Responsabilidades

• Liaison with Insurers, Policyholders and Brokers
• Investigation of allocated claims in the field or from the desk
• Compilation of all necessary evidence and relevant documentation
• Preparation of Preliminary Reports detailing the evidence available and commenting upon
• Policy Indemnity, Legal Liability, Quantum, and Tactics
• Determine appropriate action for resolution of the case
• Defend or negotiate settlement where appropriate, within agreed authority limits
• Correspond with all parties professionally to proactively progress the case to conclusion
• Investigate and handle all cases in accordance with the client’s requirements by referral to documented procedures at all times
• Maintain a proper reserve at all times by regular review
• Keep updated on any technical changes relevant to your role including participating in training programmes facilitated by the company
• All Staff are expected to carry out any reasonable instruction given by their line manager, in line with business requirements

Davies are looking to recruit an experienced Liability Loss Adjuster to join our growing Casualty team. While industry experience is a benefit, it is not essential as we will provide you with full training and support when you start with us.

Location: Preston

What will your day look like:

• Liaison with Insurers, Policyholders and Brokers

Knowledge and Abilities:

• The role would suit either a Casualty Adjuster/investigator seeking a fresh challenge and who is ambitious and can demonstrate an ability to develop the skills and knowledge needed.
• This role is Home Based covering caseloads in the North West of England therefore travel in this area is necessary.
