Intact Insurance is recruiting for a Casualty Claims Handler to investigate and progress third party property damage claims to closure, balancing costs and service commitments. You will work in a hybrid setup, applying policy and process knowledge while engaging with customers and suppliers to manage indemnity and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience is desirable in Third Party Property Damage claims.
• Able to work effectively both independently and within a team, building relationships across all stakeholders.
• Able to demonstrate good judgment and an effective approach to problem-solving, while communicating clearly and professionally with both customers and colleagues.
• Results-driven and consistently strive to exceed expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adaptable, with the ability to drive change and contribute to continuous improvement within the business.

Responsibilities

• Handling and resolving technical cases and referrals and/or complaints within your authority limit/licence level.
• Investigating and negotiating settlement of claims, promptly and cost effectively within your agreed claims licence level.
• Following agreed processes, policies, and procedures to ensure quality and service standards.
• Identifying non-standard or highly detailed claims and escalating to more qualified colleagues to ensure they are handled appropriately.
• Involvement in cases greater than license level under a cascaded license.
• Managing the customer and all suppliers to ensure indemnity control is maintained whilst enhancing the Intact Brand.
• Engaging with customers in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Helping and contributing towards the development of less experienced colleagues to raise standards and ability across the team.
• Engaging with internal and/or external customers to build relationship, ensure mutual understanding of requirements and the prompt resolution of issues arising.]
