Intact Insurance UK in Manchester is hiring a Casualty Claims Handler to investigate and advance third party property damage claims to closure, helping drive service excellence.

You will handle cases within authority, negotiate settlements, follow established processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience is desirable in Third Party Property Damage claims.
• Able to work independently and within a team, building relationships with stakeholders.
• Clear, professional communication with customers and colleagues.
• Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Adaptable with drive for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve technical cases, referrals, and complaints within licence limits.
• Investigate and negotiate settlements promptly and cost-effectively within licence level.
• Follow processes to ensure quality and service standards.
• Identify non-standard or highly detailed claims and escalate as needed.
• Support cases above licence level via cascaded licence.
• Manage customers and suppliers to maintain indemnity control while protecting brand.
• Engage with customers to deliver high standards of satisfaction.
• Help develop less experienced colleagues to raise team standards.
• Engage with internal/external customers to align requirements and resolve issues.
