Job summary

We are seeking a driven Casual Waiter/ess to join Claridge's Bar team at Claridge’s. Maybourne operates iconic London hotels and offers a prestigious working environment.

Successful candidates will have experience in five-star or fine dining settings, be fluent in English, and deliver extraordinary guest experiences while complying with all licensing and safety regulations. This is a part-time role with opportunities for development and advancement within the group.

As a part of the team, you will be guiding guests through carefully curated collections of rare champagnes and sought-after spirit and delivering a service that feels both warm and impeccably composed.

As a Waiter/essyou will be responsible for:

• Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional.
• Working with the Bar Management and Bartenders to ensure perfect sequence of service for our guests.
• Fully conversant in serving cocktails, drinks and food to Claridge’s standards.
• Handling complaints or menu questions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Recommending Food and Beverage from our menu to guest preference and taste
• Ensuring that licensing laws, health and safety legislation is adhered to.

Successful candidates for our Waiter/essopportunity will:

• Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge’s and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
• Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories
• Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment.
• You will have a passion for cocktails and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.
• Be fluent in spoken and written English
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced exciting environment.
• Have exceptional product knowledge, specifically around classic Cocktails.
