Job summary

Rugby Borough Council is seeking casual staff for the Rugby Art Gallery & Museum and the Visitor Centre to deliver a high-quality visitor experience. The role is front-of-house, requiring excellent communication and a welcoming manner to all visitors.

Compensation is £14.88 per hour. Hours vary, with no guaranteed hours, and work may include weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays as part of the existing casual pool.

Responsibilities

• Casual Visitor Experience Assistants are based front of house in the Art Gallery, Museum and Visitor Centre spaces, providing exceptional customer service and a warm welcome to all visitors.
• The successful candidate will be a brilliant communicator, proactive, flexible and reliable.
• We are looking to appoint to our existing pool of casual staff, who are called upon at short notice to provide cover including at weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• This is a casual role and hours will vary according to the demands of the service, with an amount of hours not guaranteed.
