Job summary

The Laurus Trust is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Performing Arts Technician to support drama, music and performance activities across Laurus Trust schools on a casual basis.

You will assist with set design and stage construction, provide lighting, AV and technical support for events, and help deliver curriculum-based performance activities. A driving licence is essential and flexible arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent, plus minimum 2 A-levels or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of stage lighting, sound, video recording/editing, music technology, and AV equipment.
• A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Set Design & Stage Construction: assisting with the design and build of sets for shows, workshops, exams, performances and promotional events.
• Technical Support: lighting, AV and technical assistance for events, assemblies and performances.
• Curriculum Support: supporting delivery of courses and performances within Performing Arts across Laurus Trust schools.
