Job summary

The Laurus Trust is seeking an experienced Trust IT Manager to lead a small team of Technicians and Technicians' Leaders, coordinating IT services across six secondary, six primary, and other schools. You will support, develop, and deliver compliant IT provision for 10,000+ users, deputising for the IT Director when required.

You will drive strategic IT development, ensure legal and contractual compliance, and align IT with education goals while maintaining high service levels across all schools.

Qualifications

• Sound educational background including GCSE’s Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Proven experience of working in 1st/2nd/3rd line support role.
• Proven experience of maintaining and supporting PC, server and networking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, maintenance and delivery of IT systems, services and infrastructure across the Trust.
• Provide strategic advice and manage large-scale IT projects.
• Support the effective use of technology to enhance teaching, learning and administrative operations.
