Job summary

Walsall Council in Walsall is looking for Casual Swimming Instructors to join a close-knit, professional team delivering high-quality swimming provision on a casual basis.

You will deliver instruction to adults and children, align with awarding body specifications, and apply prior instruction or service-experience in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Hold an ASA or STA Level 1 or Level 2 swimming teacher qualification.
• Hold a NRASTC light or RLSS pool lifeguard qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming instruction to adults and children in accordance with awarding body specifications and Sport & Leisure management systems.
• Apply experience of instruction duties or working in a service environment.

Salary: G7: £19.81 per hour (including an annual market supplement to be reviewed – the rate without market supplement is £15.56 per hour)
