Job summary

Wiltshire Council invites applications for a casual Swimming Teacher to join the Aquatics team in Tidworth. You will be delivering safe, fun swimming classes in group or one-to-one settings, with no fixed hours and work on an as-needed basis.

A Level 2 Swim England qualification (or Level 1 with course progression) and experience teaching children in a leisure environment are preferred, and communication and organisation are essential to support safeguarding and well-being.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Swim England qualification or equivalent, with evidence of booking onto Level 2 if only Level 1.
• Experience teaching children in a leisure environment.
• Good communication and organisational skills with safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, fun swimming classes in group or 1-1 settings.
• Assess progress and adapt tuition to individual needs.
• Maintain pool safety, equipment, and hygiene during sessions.
