Job summary

Walsall Council is recruiting casual Swimming Instructors to join our community facilities in Walsall. You will deliver swimming instruction to adults and children in line with awarding body specifications, supporting the delivery of high-quality sessions.

A strong customer service ethos and recent ASA/STA Level 1 or 2 coaching qualification are essential. Successful applicants will hold NRASTC light or RLSS pool lifeguard qualification and be available for casual shifts.

• Must hold ASA/STA Level 1 or Level 2 swimming teacher qualification and lifeguard qualification.

Salary: G7: £19.81 per hour (including an annual market supplement to be reviewed - the rate without market supplement is £15.56 per hour)

Contract: Casual

We are seeking dedicated swimming instructors to join our close-knit and professional team in the delivery of high-quality swimming provision within Walsall on a casual basis.

This position requires strong customer service skills, as well as someone who is a passionate swimming instructor.

The successful candidate will support in delivering swimming instruction to adults and children in accordance with relevant awarding body specifications and in line with Sport & Leisure management systems.

You will have experience of instruction duties or working in a service environment.

You must hold an ASA or STA Level 1 or Level 2 swimming teacher qualification.

You must hold a NRASTC light or RLSS pool lifeguard qualification.
