Job summary

Hft is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to empower learning disabled adults to live life their own way. You’ll help clients make choices, join in activities, and stay safe while promoting wellbeing.

Join a warm, inclusive team that values wellbeing and growth. Training is provided, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and DBS background checks are required.

  • Patience and a supportive approach to people
  • Positive, encouraging attitude that celebrates personal achievements
  • Strong communication to build trusting relationships
  • Willingness to learn and work toward a Health and Social Care qualification
  • Confidence providing personal support when needed
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, waking and sleep-in shifts
  • Experience in social care is welcome but not essential; attitude matters most

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Enable people to make their own choices and live life in a way that feels right for them
