Job summary

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Catering Services is seeking a Casual General Kitchen Assistant Grade 2 to support several schools during term time. Duties cover food preparation, serving, washing up and kitchen cleaning in a busy environment.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–2:00 pm. A Level 2 Food Safety certificate is required or a willingness to pursue it, with safeguarding and DBS checks as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must have a Food Safety Level 2 certificate or be willing to work towards it.
• Duties include various elements of food preparation and serving in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Term-time only role: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Responsibilities
