Job summary

Fonterra's Farm Source Culverden store is seeking a self-motivated, adaptable team member to provide excellent customer service and agricultural product knowledge in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll handle merchandising, customer inquiries, and straightforward administrative tasks such as processing orders, updating prices, and maintaining accurate records. A friendly attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are key to success in this casual role.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to perform repetitive manual tasks safely.
• Experience in sales or retail is a plus.
• Interest or background in agriculture/dairy is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product advice and purchases at the store.

By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career!

We are looking for a super star sales specialist to join our local Culverden store, you’ll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers. Getting stuck into everything from merchandising to customer service.

As part of your day-to-day, you’ll also assist with entry level administrative tasks such as processing customer orders and invoices, updating product pricing and stock levels in our systems, managing store filing, maintaining tidy and accurate records, and supporting with end-of-day cash balancing and banking preparation.

You’ll never be bored in this fast-paced role!

This is a casual role.

Mōu | About You

You’ll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills. You’ll have a high level of physical fitness; we are looking for someone who is hands on and able to sustain repetitive manual handling such as lifting our 25 kg bags of product on a daily basis.

Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we’re equally open to those looking to make a move straight off farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry.

Sound like you, other key things we’re on the lookout for includes:

• Rural experience would be beneficial, but not essential.


• Clean drivers license
