Job summary

Evans Cycles is seeking a friendly, customer-focused retail assistant to join our team in Shirebrook. You’ll welcome customers, offer helpful advice and help keep the shop floor inviting and well presented.

You’ll develop knowledge across bikes, accessories and clothing, support stock management, till transactions, and ongoing merchandising while promoting safe cycling and quality service. No guaranteed hours; flexibility is required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcoming and engaging customers, offering friendly and professional advice.

• Supporting sales through upselling and cross-selling to meet customer needs.


• Assisting with stock management and keeping the shop floor organised.


• Handling payments accurately and efficiently at the till.


• Maintaining high standards of merchandising and store presentation.


• Promoting safe cycling practices and helping customers choose the right safety gear.

This is a casual role with no guaranteed hours - shifts may vary week to week.
