Job Title: Sales Assistant at Evans Cycles

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the right bicycles, accessories, and equipment to meet their cycling needs. You will work closely with customers, provide product knowledge, and ensure the store maintains a clean and organized appearance.

This role has no guaranteed hours of work; hours can vary week to week, and some weeks there may be no hours offered.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and guiding product choices.
2. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of bicycles, components, accessories, and clothing. Stay informed about cycling trends and technologies.
3. Sales: Engage with customers to identify needs and recommend products, upselling and cross-selling to meet sales targets.
4. Stock Management: Assist with inventory, restocking shelves, checking stock levels, and reporting discrepancies.
5. Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit cards, and other payments accurately at the point of sale.
6. Merchandising: Help display products attractively and maintain organization.
7. Safety: Promote and follow safety protocols, including fitting customers with appropriate safety gear.
