About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Casual Retail Assistant is vital in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key team member, contributing to branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.
Main duties include:
- Serving trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximizing sales where possible.
- Picking relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
- Assisting the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries as needed.
- Fully satisfying customer needs regarding orders, returns, or queries.
- Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
- Contributing to a positive team performance while working on personal benchmarks to optimize sales of product promotions.
- Using the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of customer-facing areas.
- Developing strong relationships with customers and understanding their garage needs.
- Promoting a positive image of the company by representing our values and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Working towards the achievement of relevant KPIs.
Working hours:
Casual basis to cover sickness and annual leave, including weekend work.
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
- Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to approach customer queries positively and seek resolutions proactively.
- Confident in using IT and computer systems.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
