Casual Retail Sales Assistant - Elvis Evolution

Retail Sales Assistant – Levy Merchandising Salary: £13.85 p.h.
Hours per week: casual/zero hours engagement
Working pattern: varied shifts including weekdays, late evenings (until midnight), and weekends
Target start date: late June 2025
Location: Elvis Evolution - The Immersive Experience Merchandise Store – Immerse LDN, ExCel Waterfront, London

We’re seeking individuals to join our casual Retail Sales Assistant pool on a zero hours contract basis. As part of this team, you’ll have access to ad-hoc shifts at the Elvis Evolution Merchandise Store. Our Retail Sales Assistants are the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service to visitors.

In this role, you’ll create a welcoming environment, assist with enquiries, and advise on our products. You’ll also process sales, replenish stock, and manage deliveries. Maintaining high retail standards and a tidy store presentation are key responsibilities.

This role suits someone with excellent communication and teamwork skills, who can take initiative and make customer-focused decisions. Partnering with Elvis Evolution, a new immersive experience celebrating Elvis Presley, this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the store setup and launch.

What you’ll do:

1. Work as part of a team to create a fun and friendly shopping environment.
2. Welcome customers and deliver outstanding service.
3. Assist with product enquiries and provide information to help customers make purchases.
4. Manage till operations, process transactions accurately, and handle payments.
5. Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing, including stock replenishment and display setup.
6. Ensure timely and correct processing of deliveries.
7. Gather and use customer feedback to improve store operations.
8. Manage stock levels, conduct audits, and maintain the stockroom.
9. Follow health, safety, and security procedures to prevent stock loss.

Ideal candidates: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential. Passion for retail, excellent communication, approachability, and teamwork skills are important. Ability to take initiative, prioritize, multitask, and adapt to change is essential. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays is required. Must be 18 or over to work after 10 pm.
