About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Casual Retail Assistant is vital in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key member of the team, contributing to branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and building strong customer relationships.

Main duties include:

1. Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders, maximising sales where possible.
2. Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
3. Assist the sales team with product promotion sales by answering telephone and electronic queries as needed.
4. Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
5. Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
6. Contribute to positive team performance and work on personal sales benchmarks.
7. Utilize the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
8. Keep customer-facing areas of the branch clean and tidy.
9. Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
10. Represent the company professionally, promoting our values and maintaining a neat appearance.
11. Work towards achieving relevant KPIs.

Working hours: Casual basis to cover sickness and annual leave, including weekends.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

• Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
• Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to approach customer queries positively and seek resolutions proactively.
• Confident in using IT and computer systems.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
