Chewton Glen is a true English original, offering a casual Public Area Cleaner role within its luxury hotel environment. The position focuses on maintaining public areas to five-star standards and requires flexibility, enthusiasm and a proactive approach to teamwork and individual tasks.

Paid at £12.71 per hour with £2.16 TRONC, meals on duty, staff recognition, and various staff perks. Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is desirable, with a keen eye for detail and strong communication

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or professional cleaning desirable.
• Hotel or hospitality experience is desirable.
• Confidence, enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues.
• A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of our hotel public areas and offices to the hotel's 5 star standards.
• To be able to work alone as well as part of the team in a busy yet flexible operation.
• Keep all equipment and stock in the housekeeping office and cupboards neat and presentable at all times.
• Report any maintenance or equipment faults to the relevant department.
• Take ownership in completing tasks set by the management team in a timely manner, and report any faults or breakages to the relevant department.
• Be confident and intuitive when using cleaning materials and equipment.
