Job summary

Chewton Glen, part of Iconic Hotels & Resorts, is looking for a Casual Housekeeping General Assistant. You will maintain hotel standards by cleaning guest bedrooms and public areas while providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, previous housekeeping experience, and strong organizational skills. In return, we offer a competitive hourly rate and various perks such as free team meals and discounts for friends and family.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is desirable.
• Experience in high standards of face-to-face customer service.
• Keen eye for detail and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel bedrooms to the standard set by the Head Housekeeper.
• Ensure cleanliness and appearance of guest bedrooms and public areas.
• Follow all training on products and equipment.
• Assist with guest requests with respect and professionalism.
• Help team mates complete tasks to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities of the Casual Housekeeping General Assistant

• To clean and maintain the hotel bedrooms with pride to the standard set by the Head Housekeeper.
• Take pride in the cleanliness and appearance of guest bedrooms and public areas
• Be confident in following all training given on products and equipment
• Be respectful to all guests while assisting with thier requests when required
• Assist your team mates in completing their tasks to ensure our guest expectations are exceeded
