Job summary

Laurus Trust in Greater Manchester is seeking a reliable Casual Trust Performing Arts Technician to support drama, music and performances across our schools. You will help design sets, build stages and provide lighting, AV and technical support for events and examinations.

Essential: GCSEs in Maths and English, 2 A-levels or equivalent, knowledge of lighting, sound, video editing and AV equipment, and a full clean driving licence. DBS checks apply; employment is direct with Laurus Trust.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at A*-C or equivalent, plus minimum 2 A-levels or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of stage lighting, sound, video recording/editing, music tech and AV gear.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set design and stage construction for shows, workshops and events.
• Provide lighting, AV and technical support for performances and assemblies.
• Support curriculum delivery in Performing Arts across Laurus Trust schools.
