Job summary

Laurus Trust is seeking a Casual Trust Performing Arts Technician to support drama, music and performance activities across its schools. The role involves assisting with set design, stage construction, lighting, sound, AV and technical support for events and examinations.

The successful candidate will also assist with curriculum delivery within the Performing Arts departments and may participate in flexible/hybrid working arrangements where possible. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths and English at A*-C or equivalent, plus minimum 2 A-levels or equivalent.
• Knowledge of stage lighting, sound, video recording/editing, music technology and AV equipment.
• Full clean driving licence is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Set design and stage construction for shows, workshops, exams, performances and events.
• Provide lighting, AV and technical support for events, assemblies and performances.
• Support curriculum delivery across Laurus Trust schools in Performing Arts departments.
