Junior Adventures Group UK is seeking a casual Mini Bus Driver to transport children between Oak Tree Primary School and the Oak Tree setting for Breakfast and After School Clubs in Burgess Hill. The role involves short, flexible shifts and a focus on safety and reliability.

You will drive an 8-seater minibus, perform pre- and post-journey checks, and ensure safeguarding standards are met while delivering a friendly, professional service to children and families.

• Drive 8-seater mini bus safely between two schools and the Oak Tree setting.
• Provide morning transport to the Breakfast Club.
• Provide afternoon transport after the After School Club.
• Work the split shifts: 7:45am–9:15am and 2:45pm–4:15pm.
• Ensure children are transported safely and arrive on time.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain a calm, friendly and professional manner with children, families and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and transport procedures.

Do you enjoy driving, are you reliable and responsible, and would you love to play an important part in helping children get safely to and from their school?

We’re looking for a Mini Bus Driver to join our team on a casual basis, providing safe and reliable transport between two local schools and our Oak Tree setting for our Breakfast Club and After School Club.

This is a small but extremely important role. We anticipate that you may only be required for an average of 1–2 shifts per month, but your support will make a real difference to our team, our children and their families.

What you'll do day-to-day

• Drive our 8-seater mini bus safely and responsibly between two schools and our Oak Tree setting.
• Provide morning transport from the schools to the setting for our Breakfast Club.
• Provide afternoon transport from the setting back to the schools following our After School Club.
• Work the following split shifts, as and when required: 7:45am–9:15am and 2:45pm–4:15pm.
• Ensure children are transported safely and arrive at their destination on time.
• Carry out appropriate checks of the vehicle and report any concerns promptly.
• Maintain a calm, friendly and professional manner when interacting with children, families and colleagues.
• Follow all relevant safeguarding, health and safety and transport procedures.

A small role with a big impact

Although this role may only involve an average of 1–2 shifts per month, it is an extremely important position. Your availability will provide valuable cover for our existing driver and help ensure that our Breakfast and After School Clubs can continue running smoothly for children and families.
