Job summary

We’re looking for a Mini Bus Driver to join our team on a casual basis, providing safe transport between two local schools and our Oak Tree setting for Breakfast Club and After School Club. You may be required for an average of 1–2 shifts per month, making a real difference to children and families.

Responsibilities include driving an 8-seater minibus, morning and afternoon transports, and maintaining safe operations with safeguarding at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Reliable, responsible and punctual.
• Confident and careful driver for an 8-seat minibus.
• Experience with children beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive 8-seater minibus safely between two schools and Oak Tree setting.
• Provide morning transport from schools to Breakfast Club.
• Provide afternoon transport from setting back to schools after After School Club.
• Work split shifts: 7:45am–9:15am and 2:45pm–4:15pm.
• Ensure children are transported safely and arrive on time.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain a calm, friendly and professional manner with children, families and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and transport procedures.
