Job summary

Oldham-Council is seeking a Casual Catering Assistant for South Failsworth Primary School in Manchester. The role supports the Catering Supervisor, helps with meal service and maintains a welcoming environment for pupils.

We want someone who is passionate about helping children, committed to safeguarding, has excellent communication, and can work effectively in a team. Flexible and willing to attend training too.

Salary: £25,711 - £26,427 (full time full year equivalent) | Actual Salary: £8,768 - £9,011 per annum (Grade 1)

Hours: 3 per day, 11am-2pm - 15 per week

Location: South Failsworth Primary School, Paddock Lane, Manchester, M35 0NY

Start Date: Monday2 November 2026
