Job summary

The Lantern Community Primary School in Ely is seeking a reliable relief Midday Supervisor to oversee pupils in the dining hall, playgrounds and school premises during lunch. The role is casual, part‑time, term‑time only, with flexible hours around lunchtimes.

You will monitor pupil wellbeing and behaviour, assist with setting up and clearing away lunchtime areas, and work as part of Meridian Trust’s supportive team. First aid training is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in a school or similar setting.
• Understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
• Willingness to undertake first aid training.
• Casual, flexible availability around lunch periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in dining hall and playground during lunch.
• Monitor wellbeing and behaviour and assist with setting up/clearing lunchtime areas.
