Job summary

Handcross Primary School is seeking a Part-time Midday Meals Supervisor to join during term-time. The role involves setting up lunch tables, supervising children during lunch, and clearing the hall for afternoon activities. The post is temporary to July 2027 with a possible extension.

Applicants should be flexible, positive, and capable of working with primary age children. DBS clearance and training are mandatory. 45 minutes daily Monday to Friday, 11:45–13:15.

Qualifications

• Flexible, positive attitude and willingness to work with primary school children.
• Commitment to safeguarding and completion of DBS checks.
• Attendance at mandatory staff training, including first aid and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up lunch tables in the hall before lunch.
• Supervise and interact with children during lunchtime.
• Clear the hall after lunch and prepare for afternoon activities.
