Job summary

Pitton Church of England Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Mid-day Supervisory Assistant to supervise lunchtime supervision for pupils and promote safety, happiness and good conduct on the playground.

The successful candidate will support a friendly team, be patient, approachable and enjoy working with children. Training and guidance will be provided, with a focus on safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children is desirable but not essential; training and support will be provided.
• We are looking for someone caring, enthusiastic and reliable who can work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime to ensure safety and well‑being.
• Encourage positive behaviour, support pupils during play and lunch, and foster a welcoming environment.
• Assist in creating a calm, inclusive atmosphere and work as part of the school team.
