Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council is looking for motivated, reliable individuals to join our leisure services team. You will supervise the ice rink facilities, steward the ice pad, issue skates and carry out cleaning duties. Shifts are casual and cover mornings, evenings and weekends.

The role requires GCSE level education (or equivalent). First aid at work is desirable or obtainable within 6 months, plus Skate UK grade 3 skating proficiency tests within 6 months.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent education.
• First aid at work qualification or ability to achieve within 6 months.
• British Ice skating Skate UK grade 3 skating proficiency test to be achieved within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of leisure facilities.
• Stward ice pad, issue ice skates and oversee cleaning duties.
• Cover shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends on a casual basis.
