Job summary

Telford and Wrekin Council is seeking motivated individuals to join the leisure services team on a casual basis. The role includes supervising the ice pad, stewarding, issuing ice skates and maintaining a clean, safe environment for public sessions.

You should have GCSE level education, a First Aid at Work qualification (or be willing to achieve it within 6 months) and Skate UK grade 3 skating proficiency (or achieve within 6 months). Roles involve mornings, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent.
• First aid at work or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Skate UK grade 3 skating proficiency (or equivalent) within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day facilities and ice pad operations.
• Steward ice sessions, issue ice skates and keep areas clean.

We are currently seeking motivated and suitably skilled individuals to join the leisure services team.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the facilities including stewarding of the ice pad, issuing of ice skates and cleaning duties.

The successful candidate will be available to work on a casual basis for shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, First aid at work qualification (or ability to achieve in 6months) British Ice skating Skate UK grade 3 skating proficiency test (within 6months) are requirements of the post.
