Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking motivated individuals to join the leisure services team, offering casual shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends.

Successful candidates will supervise day-to-day operations of the facilities, steward the ice pad, issue ice skates and assist with cleaning duties. GCSE level education and First Aid at Work qualifications (or ability to achieve) are required, along with Skate UK grade 3 skating proficiency within 6 months.

Qualifications

• GCSE level education or equivalent.
• First aid at work qualification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• British Ice skating Skate UK grade 3 skating proficiency within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facilities on a day-to-day basis, including stewarding of the ice pad.
• Issue ice skates to customers.
• Carry out cleaning duties and maintain a safe environment.
• Casual shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will be available to work on a casual basis for shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, First aid at work qualification (or ability to achieve in 6months) British Ice skating Skate UK grade 3 skating proficiency test (within 6months) are requirements of the post.
