Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council Leisure Services is seeking a Casual Leisure Assistant to supervise daily facility operations, including pool lifeguard duties, across our Newport, Oakengates, Wellington and broader leisure sites.

A RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is essential; candidates should have experience in leisure or customer services and the ability to supervise designated public activity areas. Shifts include mornings, evenings and weekends on an as-and-when-required basis.

Qualifications

• RLSS NPLQ is required.
• Experience supervising leisure or customer service environments.
• Ability to supervise designated public activity areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily facility operations and public activity areas.
• Perform pool lifeguard duties as required.
• Work across a rota including mornings, evenings and weekends.

We are currently seeking motivated and suitably skilled individuals to join the leisure services team.

The role:

Successful candidates will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the facilities including pool lifeguard duties.

Key requirements:

A RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is an essential requirement of the post.

Skills & experience:

Candidates should have the ability to supervise and control designated public activity areas.

Candidates should have relevant experience in a leisure and customer services environment.

Additional information:

The successful candidates will work across a rota pattern that includes morning, evening and weekend working on an \"as and when required basis.\"
