Job summary

King's Ford Infant School & Nursery is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our casual bank of staff covering classes from Nursery to Year 2. The role is part-time, term-time hours, with pay at £13.47 per hour plus holiday allowance. This position requires flexibility and a caring approach.

We offer a supportive environment with training opportunities and a DBS check process. Successful candidates will contribute to SEN provision and work closely with the class teachers and the SENCo

Qualifications

• Experience as Learning Support Assistant or similar role.
• Casual/bank staff covering Nursery to Year 2 classes.
• Experience with SEN in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN practices in the classroom.
• Liaise with and report to the class teacher and SENCo.
• Assist in delivering lessons and activities to pupils.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our bank of casual staff covering classes from Nursery to Year 2.

• Feel confident in supporting good SEN practice in the classroom
• Remain calm in challenging situations and work closely as part of a team
• Have an understanding of trauma informed practice
