Job summary

The Red Carnation Hotel Collection is seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter for our luxury hotel in London. Reporting to the Head Chef and Executive Chef, this role offers a casual contract with approx. 3 days a week and a fixed-term end in December 2026.

You will support the kitchen team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency. Benefits include £13.86 per hour OTE, nutritious meals on duty, and a generous bonus scheme up to £600, plus development and volunteering

Qualifications

• Positive, flexible attitude and ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong hygiene and safety standards in a professional kitchen.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Previous kitchen porter experience preferred but not essential; full training provided.
• Pride in maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

• Assist kitchen team in preparing and cleaning kitchen areas before, during and after service.
• Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment.
• Assist chefs and waiters as necessary.
• Check chemical levels and inventory.

We are currently seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter to join our exceptional culinary team at our luxury hotel in London. Reporting to the Head Chef and Executive Chef, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a great work ethic and a passion for maintaining the highest standards in kitchen operations.

Location: bbar

Employment Type: Fixed-term contract until December 2026 ( 3 mounths )

Working Pattern: Casual contract-approximately 3 days a week

Key Responsibilities of a Kitchen Porter:
