Job summary

The Milestone Hotel and Residences, part of The Red Carnation Hotel Collection, seeks a Kitchen Porter to join our luxury team in London. You will report to the Head Chef and Executive Chef, supporting a high-standard kitchen operation in a five-star setting.

We are currently seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our exceptional culinary team at our luxury hotel in London. Reporting to the Head Chef and Executive Chef, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a great work ethic and a passion for maintaining the highest standards in kitchen operations.

5 days on, 2 days off

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting the kitchen team in preparing and cleaning the kitchen areas before, during and after service.
• Operating pot-washing machinery and maintaining a hygienic working environment.
• Assisting the chefs and waiters as necessary.
• Checking chemical levels and inventory.

What we’re looking for:

• A positive, flexible attitude with the ability to work well in a team and independently.
• A strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards in a professional kitchen.
• Good time management and the ability to work under pressure.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential, we’ll provide full training.
• Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
