The Role

A cheerful, energetic person with a good eye for detail is needed to assist our full-time Kitchen Porters in keeping the kitchen tidy, clean, safe, and ready for service.

Maintaining a clean, well-presented environment with clean, hot plates is essential for a successful kitchen. During your shift, you will support our chefs by:

• Operating the dishwasher to ensure all cutlery and crockery are cleaned promptly, stacked, and ready for service.
• Refilling the hot plate to ensure guests receive hot food during each dining session.
• Performing deep cleaning tasks as outlined in the kitchen's cleaning schedule.
• Maintaining exceptional kitchen hygiene standards throughout all tasks.
• Helping create a safe, secure, and appealing environment by following the company Health & Safety Policies and ensuring compliance in all kitchen areas.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
• Shifts are available in the early (8am - 4:30pm) and late (1:30pm - 10pm / 3pm - 11pm) periods, covering weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

• No formal qualifications required, but a good standard of English is necessary.
• Energy and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, volume environment.
• Previous experience in a food service setting is helpful but not essential.
