Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Casual Kitchen Assistant to join our Hotels team in the United Kingdom. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized kitchen and bar while delivering warm hospitality to guests and colleagues.

In this role you’ll support kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, follow health and safety procedures, and contribute to a positive team environment. Flexible shifts and benefits accompany a rewarding start to your Hilton career.

Responsibilities

• Support kitchen operations with the kitchen and bar team to keep a clean, prepared environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment and utensils.
• Follow Health & Safety and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe workspace.
• Collaborate with the kitchen brigade to maintain smooth operations.
• Help manage equipment flow and ensure items are available for the team.
• Show reliability and enthusiasm to foster a positive, productive workplace.

Here’s What You’ll Do During a Typical Day

• Support kitchen operations: Assist the Kitchen and bar team in maintaining a clean, organised, and well-prepared environment to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain cleanliness standards: Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly, supporting efficient food preparation and service
• Ensure health and safety compliance: Follow all Health & Safety and hygiene procedures, maintaining a safe environment for both team members and guests
• Support team efficiency: Work collaboratively with the kitchen brigade to keep operations running seamlessly and support overall team performance
• Assist with kitchen organisation: Help manage the flow of equipment and ensure all items are readily available for use by the kitchen team
• Contribute to a positive team environment: Demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic while supporting a productive and rewarding workplace
