Job summary

The Alexander Hotel Collection is seeking a Casual Housekeeping Assistant for Barnett Hill Hotel near Guildford. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms and bathrooms, with flexible weekday and weekend shifts and opportunities to contribute to public area cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities include bed linen changes, tray resets, and corridor cleaning, ensuring excellent presentation and guest satisfaction.

• Experience in hotel housekeeping desirable.
• Good attention to detail and presentation.
• Able to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms: strip and change linen daily, dust, polish and vacuum.

Up to £14.24 per hour including holiday pay + monthly service charge payment based on hours worked.

THE ROLE

Seeking an energetic worker, with a good eye for detail to ensure excellent standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms and bathrooms.

Weekday and weekend shifts with flexible start times available

Duties include:

• Cleaning of guest bedrooms; stripping and changing bedlinen daily, cleaning, dusting, polishing & vacuuming
• Resetting of hospitality trays and guest information packs
• Corridor cleaning
• Stocking of linen for the following day
• Assisting with public area cleaning when required
