Job summary

Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, just outside London, is seeking casual housekeeping assistants to support the full-time team during busy periods.

You will clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms, change bedding, and keep corridors tidy, with shifts 9am-3pm or 9am-5pm, 7–8 hours per day on weekdays and weekends. A monthly service charge and free parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic about cleaning and presentation.
• Methodical in working routines.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms to ensure high standards.
• Change bed linen daily in all guest bedrooms.
• Clean corridors and ensure cleanliness of guest areas.
• Ensure all corridors are clean and tidy and linen is returned to laundry.

CASUAL HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT

Up to £14.24 per hour including holiday payment. Age related pay applies to this role.

The Role

We are seeking a couple of casual employees to support our full-time team during busy days and weekends.

An energetic worker, with a good eye for detail to ensure excellent standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms and bathrooms. Ensuring that all guest bedrooms are well presented ready for the guest return in the evening.

• Working 7/8 hrs per day, weekday and weekend shifts available
• Available shifts are 9am - 3pm or 9am - 5pm (30-minute break included)
• Changing bed linen daily in all guest bedrooms
• Cleaning guest bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors
• Ensuring all corridors are clean and tidy and any dirty linen is returned to the laundry

Join our Housekeeping team under the direction of our experienced Head Housekeeper, Inga Zarnowska. There is full time team of housekeeping assistants, linen porters and spa cleaners, as well as an inhouse maintenance team to support you.
